Champions of Sustainability

‘Affari & Finanza’, the supplement of the daily newspaper Repubblica dedicated to Economics and Finance and the first economic weekly in Italy, published a study done by the German Institute for Quality and Finance (ITQF) in which the Elemaster Group has being recognised as the 1st place company in the electronics industry for its focus on ESG aspects (Environmental, Social, Governance). Also, in the overall ranking, which includes all other companies from different sectors, Elemaster was awarded 43rd place with a score of 79.98/100. The ranking is the result of a study which evaluated a total of 20,000 companies, selecting 350 of them according to their commitment to these crucial sustainability factors.

The ITQF ranking was drawn up through the anonymous evaluations of the employees of the companies involved, without their knowledge. This precise and careful methodology made it possible to obtain a true and transparent picture of companies’ real commitment to sustainability, avoiding the phenomenon of greenwashing. The criteria used to draw up the ranking included both general and specific questions on sustainability, with greater weight given to the latter. In total, more than twenty thousand evaluations were collected from as many companies, highlighting those most virtuous in combining work with environmental, economic and social factors.

“Creating better conditions of life for future generations is a priority for the Elemaster Group since its foundation” said Valentina Cogliati, President and CEO of Elemaster. “Only if we remain loyal to our nature, to our value system and we always put human beings at the center of our actions, then we will be truly sustainable and truly entrepreneurial”, she explained.

Being recognised as one of Italy’s most sustainable companies is a great honor for the Elemaster Group, and testifies to our unwavering commitment to environmental protection and wellbeing of the communities in which we operates, not only reinforcing the company’s reputation as a leader in the technology sector, but also highlighting the importance of combining economic success with social and environmental responsibility” concluded Luca Ceppi, Elemaster Vice President and Corporate CSR.
